MacuMira
MacuMira® Treatment for Dry Macular Degeneration
MacuMira® is a safe, non-invasive treatment designed to help improve vision in people with dry age-related macular degeneration (dry AMD). Dry AMD is a common eye condition that affects central vision and can make everyday tasks like reading, recognizing faces, and driving more difficult.
Unlike traditional approaches that mainly focus on slowing vision loss, MacuMira is clinically proven to improve visual function in many patients with dry macular degeneration.
How MacuMira Works
MacuMira uses gentle microcurrent stimulation delivered through closed eyelids to support retinal health. During treatment, a comfortable headset is placed over the eyes for about 30 minutes while low-level electrical currents stimulate the retina.
